Walter E. "Walt" Buck, 76, of Grants Pass died Friday, July 6, 2007, 
at Three Rivers Community Hospital.
No services are planned. Private interment will be at Eagle Point National Cemetery. 
Southern Oregon Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements. Contributions may be made to 
Parkinson's Resources of Oregon, 1015 N.W. 22nd Avenue, Portland, OR 97210.
He was born September 9, 1930, in Oxford, Iowa, to Walter and Marie (Driscoll) Buck. 
He graduated from St. Patrick's High School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  
From 1951 to 1956 he served in the Army.
For many years he lived in California where he worked for Western Electric and retired in 1983. 
In the early 1990s, he moved to Grants Pass from California.
He enjoyed outdoor activities, including hiking, fishing, archery target practice, 
motorcycle riding and ice skating.   He also enjoyed bowling and classical music.
Survivors include five sisters, Virginia Boyle, Doris Roney and Lois Banks, all of Grants Pass;
Geren Cohrs of Bakersfield, California, and Alice Parker of Laguna Niguel, California; 
and three brothers, Homer Buck of Mesa, Arizona, Kenneth Buck of Grants Pass, 
and Gary Buck of Prescott, Arizona. Walter was preceded in death by his sister, Phyllis (Buck) Weber.
